Kristyn was born in Lafayette, Louisiana but was raised all over the south because of her father’s career. She graduated from Spain Park High School in Alabama, moved back to Lafayette, Louisiana for college and graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with her Bachelors of Science degree in Nursing in 2011.
After UL, she spent time at Lafayette General Medical Center as an RN, where she spent two years on the telemetry floor and almost five years in the Intensive Care Unit. Kristyn then decided to further her career by becoming a nurse practitioner, graduating from the University of South Alabama in 2017 with her Masters of Science in Nursing-Dual Role program: Family Nurse Practitioner and Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Kristyn spent a year after graduating in the field of cardiology, but she has always known her passion was family medicine, more specifically functional family medicine, and caring for patients’ health before they become sick. We are excited to see her excel in the areas of intravenous nutrition therapy, hormonal balancing, and overall patient wellness.
